September 16, 2024

The 2024-2025 edition is now available to support foreign investors interested in entering into the Brazilian market

TozziniFreire Advogados has just released the latest edition of its interactive guide, Doing Business in Brazil. Divided into key practice areas, the guide provides an overview of Brazil's legal and investment landscape, highlighting the main opportunities, trends, and diverse aspects to bear in mind by foreign investors, such as investment models and vehicles, taxation, and labor rules.

The content also draws attention to the financial and capital markets environment, M&A transactions, and other relevant legal areas such as antitrust, compliance, and disputes, as well as specific economic sectors that are, directly or indirectly, concerning to foreign investment, including insurance, real estate, international trade, and ESG aspects.

The 2024-2025 edition will be officially launched at the IBA (International Bar Association) Annual Conference from September 15 to 20 in Mexico City. As in previous years, the event will be attended by a delegation of TozziniFreire experts, featuring eight partners available to network and present the guide to professionals from around the world.

This year's new feature is the special IBA 2024 microsite, in addition to the firm’s main website, where the updated edition of the guide can be accessed. This microsite provides all relevant information about the firm, its delegation, and the Doing Business in Brazil guide, which can be downloaded by potential foreign investors interested in learning about and exploring the Brazilian business environment and legal system.

According to Alexei Bonamin, co-head of TozziniFreire’s Corporate area, "the guide is an important tool for supporting international investors who need reliable information when making investment decisions in a new market." He adds, "We aim to strengthen our position as the preferred strategic partner for international clients."
