The Insurance Bill, which regulates private insurance and revokes provisions of the Brazilian Civil Code concerning insurance,
was approved on June 18, 2024 by the Federal Senate and was sent to be reviewed by the House of Representatives on June
26, 2024. The Insurance Bill is identified by number PL No. 2597/2024 (former PLC No. 29/2017). If the Bill is approved by the
House of Representatives, Brazil will have an Insurance Law.
