The Merger and Acquisition practice will have two new partners, Cauê Almeida and Victor Françoso. Felipe Paiva will strengthen the Capital Markets team, focusing on securitization. The Labor practice will have Mayra Pelegrino as a new partner, and Eric Visini will enhance the Tax team.

Cauê Almeida is a graduate of the Law School of Universidade Católica de Santos, holds a postgraduate degree in International Law from the Escola Paulista de Direito (EPD), and in Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), as well as a master's degree in Business Law from the same institution. Cauê is highly skilled in contract and corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity transactions, both domestic and cross-border.
Victor Françoso graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, took the American and International Law program at the Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law (SWIICL), and holds an LL.M. degree in Corporate Law from Insper. Victor focuses his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, private equity, and venture capital, with expertise in administrative and public law, commercial law, capital markets, corporate contracts, regulatory issues, and bidding processes. He is also recognized by Legal 500 in the Corporate and M&A area.
Felipe Paiva is a graduate of the Law School of Universidade Milton Campos, holds a postgraduate degree in Executive Management Finance & Accounting from the University of La Verne, and LL.M. degrees in Corporate Law from IBMEC and in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University. Felipe has wide experience assisting clients in the structuring of investment funds, venture capital, and private equity, as well as private funds, asset management, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions.
Mayra Pelegrino graduated in Law from Universidade Paulista (UNIP), she holds postgraduate degrees in Civil Procedure Law and Labor Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), and an LL.M. degree from IBMEC. She has wide experience in managing labor processes for large companies, including strategy definition and drafting legal documents, and preventive legal advice, particularly in auditing and consulting. Mayra is also recognized by Análise Advocacia.
Eric Visini graduated in Accounting and Law from PUC-SP, holds a specialization degree from the Academy of American and International Law of the Center for American and International Law, and holds an LL.M. degree in Tax Law from Insper. Eric is skillful in Tax Law, providing preventive tax consulting, including guidance on tax planning, cross-border structuring, and procedures for companies; advising on issues related to double taxation treaties, restructuring operations, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as implementing reorganizations both in Brazil and abroad.
