TozziniFreire took part in a regional study conducted by Keidos, a specialized consultancy focused on legal and strategic solutions for impact businesses in Latin America, in partnership with leading law firms in the region, on Social Impact Bonds. The work resulted in a report that analyzes the main legal aspects related to the design, development, and execution of results-based contracts, a mechanism that has been gaining relevance in the region as an alternative for social financing.
Among the points addressed, the report highlights the importance of the strategic involvement of legal teams from the early stages of these projects, anticipating risks and ensuring the feasibility of the contracts. It also emphasizes the need for greater standardization of concepts and data, as well as the promotion of cooperative learning among the various stakeholders involved, as a way to accelerate the consolidation of these mechanisms in Latin America and the Caribbean.
