Martin has extensive experience advising local and foreign private equity funds and other companies. He is mainly focused on international, civil, and commercial matters, including foreign investments in Brazil; drafting and negotiation of domestic and international contracts involving, among other matters, mergers, spinoffs, company sales and acquisitions; family-owned companies estate planning; project financing; foreign loans; joint venture agreements; and the conduct of legal audits. From 1985 to 1986, he worked at the São Paulo office of Bank of America NT & SA. He was also an intern at Mayer, Brown & Platt in Chicago from 1981 to 1982.
