Ligia is highly skilled in the renewable energy sector and in infrastructure projects, with broad experience in the legal development and structuring of projects, project finance, including regulatory, corporate, and contractual issues in these industries. Additionally, she has in-depth knowledge of equipment supply contracts, O&M, EPCs, and energy purchase and sale agreements, green financing, ESG, among others. Ligia also handles mergers and acquisitions transactions. Besides Brazil, she is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and California. Ligia is the founder of the group Women in Energy (Mulheres de Energia), which gathers female executives from the energy sector, with different backgrounds and experiences, to discuss energy issues and female leadership.
