Partner of the Tax practice group, Erlan has 19 years of experience in assisting multinational and Brazilian companies in several tax issues, including tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and corporate law, inbound and outbound investments, design and implementation of financial products and investment funds, international taxation, indirect taxes, estate planning and strategic litigation.Prior to joining TozziniFreire, Erlan had worked for eight years at a Big 4 consulting and audit firm, including an assignment of 32 months at the Brazilian Desk in New York, where he assisted US companies with multiple tax issues involving investments in Brazil.
