Euromoney LMG Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2016

TozziniFreire’s Pro Bono work was awarded by Euromoney LMG, an important global publication focused on Financial Law. In addition to the institutional award, one of the firm’s partners also received an individual recognition for her work in Intellectual Property.

Named Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2016, they are one of the most traditional awards in the legal world and spotlight the best women lawyers in each area of practice, the winners being chosen through interviews conducted with hundreds of lawyers and legal professionals all over Latin America.

Partners Moira Huggard-Caine and Marcela Waksman Ejnisman represented the firm at the ceremony, which was held on 09 June in New York.

Euromoney LMG Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2016 elected partner Marcela Waksman Ejnisman as the best lawyer in Intellectual Property in Latin America.

Marcela is the head of Intellectual Property in São Paulo and has been with TozziniFreire for 18 years. Throughout her career, she has collected outstanding awards from some of the most relevant legal guides such as Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America, Legal 500, Euromoney Expert Guides, Latin Lawyer 250, Who’s Who Legal, PLC Which Lawyer? and LACCA Approved.
