Marco Aurélio Torronteguy is the newest partner at TozziniFreire. He will reinforce the firm’s Life Sciences & Healthcare practice, working alongside partner Elysangela de Oliveira Rabelo in regulatory matters and administrative proceedings involving companies in the sector.

Torronteguy graduated in Law from UFSM (Universidade Federal de Santa Maria), has a Master’s degree from the same institution and earned a Ph.D. from USP (Universidade de São Paulo). He has solid experience in Life Sciences & Health Regulatory. He is vice-chair of the Health Law Commission of OAB/SP (Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo section) since its establishing in 2010 and was one of the founders and the first secretary of the Iberoamerican Network of Health Law (Red Iberoamericana de Derecho Sanitario).
