The annual event gathers leading entrepreneurs and investors for a valuable exchange of insights and networking, having Brazil as the central theme
To celebrate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the innovation of Brazilian entrepreneurs, Brazil Week is annually held in New York every May. The initiative promotes a series of activities aimed at discussing trends in the country's economy and sustainability, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, businesspeople, and government officials/administrators for a sequence of sessions, meetings, conferences, and social events that highlight Brazil's achievements in technology, innovation, and business.
The major topics discussed at the meetings – with the Brazilian market showing good prospects for business and investments – included the crypto market, artificial intelligence (AI), sports betting, nearshoring, biotech, and clean energy. Other sectors that stood out at Brazil Week were data centers and hospitality, segments in which Brazil, especially São Paulo, is a major player in the Latin American market, with solid growth in recent years.
Additionally, a topic that has emerged as a market trend, much discussed during this past Brazil Week, is the so-called multifamily housing (residential units for rental income). Although Brazil is still striving for a prominent role in this sector, behind Chile and Mexico, this type of investment is expected to gain traction in the country over the next few Years.
