Professional experience
Partner at TozziniFreire and head of the Insurance and Reinsurance practice, Bárbara has over 17 years of experience advising insurers, reinsurers, (re)insurance brokers, and other clients on SUSEP regulatory matters, operational agreements, claims handling, strategic litigation, SUSEP administrative proceedings, and a broad range of insurance advisory matters. She frequently delivers lectures and workshops for insurers and reinsurers and also serves as a professor at higher education institutions. In addition, she is the author of articles and books on insurance law, including "As Polêmicas que Permeiam o Seguro de Responsabilidade Civil e a Busca por uma Solução" and "Seguros: Beneficiários e suas Implicações", both solely authored by her. She holds a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Civil Law from the University of São Paulo (USP).
