BRAZILIAN FEDERAL PHARMACY COUNCIL CONFIRMS NORMS ISSUED AD REFERENDUM DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Updated on 13 Jul at 11:51 am

On July 1st, the Brazilian Federal Pharmacy Council (CFF) published CFF Resolution No. 687/2020, which confirmed CFF Resolutions No.s 681, 682, 683, 684 and 686, 2020, published in the past months, as approved only by the entity’s Board of Office, due to the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.

The decision was made by the CFF plenary that, then, ultimately approved the dispositions above. We highlight the following:

(i) by means of CFF Resolutions No.s 681/2020 and 682/2020, the suspension of administrative proceedings deadlines in pharmacy councils. In view of the current scenario, external inspections may be substituted by internal and guided inspections;

(ii) by means of CFF Resolution No. 686/2020, the amendment of CFF’s bylaws, in order to provide for and discipline plenary reunions online.
