Professional experience

Oduvaldo works in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups and specializes in assisting investors and companies from various sectors, both foreign and domestic, notably matters involving corporate law, capital markets, and publicly-traded companies. He coordinates projects of great complexity from planning to implementation, and has extensive expertise in domestic and cross-border transactions involving the sale and purchase of companies, capital markets, private equity, joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate reorganization and restructuring, in addition to other corporate, civil and commercial legal matters. He is also part of the firm’s Agribusiness practice group. Before joining TozziniFreire, Oduvaldo was part of the legal department of major national and multinational companies, where he acted on matters related to corporate law, litigation, corporate governance, and compliance. He also served as a foreign associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office in 2013-14, assisting clients in the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group, with a focus on transactions relating to Latin America.
