Professional experience

Martin has extensive experience advising local and foreign private equity funds and other companies. He is mainly focused on international, civil, and commercial matters, including foreign investments in Brazil, the drafting and negotiation of domestic and international contracts involving, among other matters, mergers, spin offs, company sales and acquisitions, family-owned companies estate planning, as well as project financing, foreign loans, joint venture agreements, and the conduct of legal audits. From 1985 to 1986, he worked at the São Paulo office of Bank of America NT & SA. He also worked as an intern at Mayer, Brown & Platt in Chicago from 1981 to 1982.


He is recognized in The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America and Análise Advocacia 500, relevant international legal guides.
