Head of the Tax practice group at TozziniFreire, member of the Permanent Scientific Committee (PSC) of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), and member of the NYU School of Law International Tax Program Practice Council, Ana Cláudia has practiced tax law since 1992.Assisting both Brazilian and foreign companies, she has accumulated broad experience in taxation issues in general, including those arising from cross-border deals, such as mergers and acquisitions, financial and capital markets transactions, and other international tax legislation. In addition to working directly on client legal matters, Ana Cláudia maintains intense academic activity through classes, lectures, and articles. Over the years of experience, Ana Claudia has been advising companies from different sectors, including health care companies, such as pharmaceutical and clinical analysis laboratories, hospitals, clinics, equipment and medical products providers, among others.
